Storm Damage – Mendham Home
Storm Damage struck this Mendham home when a severe thunderstorm packing exceptionally high winds tore a large section of the roof from the house. The breach in the roof allowed large quantities of rainwater to enter the interior of the structure. The water accumulated on top of the ceiling drywall wetting the insulation in the process. As the weight of the water-laden insulation and drywall became too great, they began to fall to the floor below. The first need of the homeowners was to find someone to place a tarp on the roof to stop the influx of water to the interior of the house. They would then need to have the roof repaired, and the water damage to the interior of the house cleaned up. SERVPRO of Southwest Morris County could help the homeowners with all phases of the restoration project that they faced. Our industry certified technicians are experienced in all aspects of storm and water damage restoration.
